Those taken with the MacKenzie-Childs™ look can use this for a twist on the usual checkerboard pattern. Choose from all our current houndstooth ribbons for the width and size perfect for you!
Autumn leaves are falling! Try matching the homespun look of Durand’s trees with the copper glitter elegance of Eris or the friendly Jack O’lanterns of Deeke. See our complete fall selection or visit the entire shop!
Fall is my favorite season for making wreaths and arrangements. The colors are endless, and the variety of foliage and flower allow you to blend together sublime or brilliantly colored combinations. With all these options for inspiration, it can be difficult to know where to start when you look at your stash of florals or try to choose which to purchase. Which color to highlight this time? Which ones should I put together? You can scour Pinterest for ideas but the best are right outside your door. A few steps away, we found a constantly evolving source of color combinations. Ok, maybe the last one won’t make a great wreath and refuses to sit still long enough for a table arrangement. Luckily plants, grasses, leaves and flowers are more cooperative – and appropriate! – than a cat!

Our tractors don’t like to be idle and they’ll start rumbling soon if they don’t find work. But don’t ask them to move dirt! Their area of expertise is the decorative arts and they’re ready to go to work when you are!
A heathered yellow background shows off the detail on the green truck, who specializes in farm decor and summer and spring projects.
Red likes to work in Christmas projects, but feels a red tractor ribbon is equally at home in summer.
Green hastens to point out that green tractors and Christmas are a natural fit and that green is the color of new leaves in spring.
and they brought back a new friend, the red truck. Equally ready to work in any season!
And there’s Pop, a grand green and yellow tractor, off to the side, happy to welcome them back.
Spring brings thoughts of warm weather, being outside and hearing birds sing again. Maybe that’s why two of top weekly ribbons, “Bug’s Life” and “Peacock Feather” caught our visitors’ eyes. Let’s see what other items made up the rest of this week’s most viewed and liked!
It may have been March Madness for basketball, but our football lace ribbon print was a favorite. The 2 1/2″ width in a three yard length won the race this week, but also playing hard were the ten yard roll and the 1 1/2″ width in 3 yards and a ten yard roll.
Yes, it’s spring and all those critters are coming out of their winter hiding places. Dragonflies are joined by their friends, lady bugs, bees and beetles.
Ombre ribbons transition between colors, making them the go-to choice of ribbon flower crafters. The soft blending of colors in “Teal” evoke the ocean and coordinate nicely with “Peacock Feather”, Dark Teal “Anisha” and “Gelato” in Celadon. Teal ombre comes on 3 yard roll as well a cost effective 25 yard roll.
Never far from the top! Popular for sports themed projects and patriotic wreaths. Wired navy blue burlap, 2 1/2″ wide, is available in a 3 yard length, a 10 yard roll and as a 50 yard lot.
At the top of the weekly top five ribbons, this week: Gorgeous satin peacock feather print, 1 1/2″ wide, made in the US by Offray Lion Ribbon.
A couple of quick photos of the new ribbons that just arrived! We’ve been getting in the fall, Halloween, Christmas and winter holiday ribbons over the last few months as they’ve trickled in from our suppliers. Now, though, the next few weeks will be a sea of new ribbons and craft items. The ribbon companies have gotten their shipments in and large cartons are showing up on our doorstep regularly. Send a message if you see one you like but we haven’t gotten it listed yet! We’re working quickly, and putting in lots of hours, but it’s big job!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Halloween in the ribbon shop. For those who craft as a business, it’s now time to get fall and Halloween ribbon and supplies. You should finish some fall themed products by the middle of August and Halloween items by the beginning of September. Nearly all of our fall seasonal ribbon and Halloween ribbon is in stock now or arriving shortly, much of it in limited supply. That means even hobbyists are well advised to buy the ribbons you like soon. Regular ribbons in fall and Halloween colors can also end up temporarily out of stock — at the exact moment you need them!
